Chaos Machine
Four new recipes on top of the usual ones (wings, +10 to +15, Fenrir). Talk to the Chaos Goblin in Noria and pick a button: Roulette and Luck for the first three recipes, Recycling for the last. The normal combination keeps the usual recipes and the Chaos weapons.
Put in exactly the items shown. When it is right, the recipe name appears in the window and the combine button unlocks.
Option roulette
Re-rolls the excellent options, in the same number (on a wing, the wing’s options). It never gives back an option the item already had. If the item has no extra blue option, it gains one. Luck stays. Ancient items cannot be used.

Locked roulette
The same roulette, but the item’s first option stays. Use it when you already have one good option and want to change only the others.

Add Luck
Puts Luck on an item that has none. If it fails you lose the jewels and the Zen; the item comes back untouched.

Recycling
Turns spare equipment into prizes. Every piece is worth points, and every 50 points give one prize (Box of Luck, or a Jewel of Bless, Soul, Life, Chaos or Creation), up to 10 per run. Every 5 leftover points become 1 Rena; gather 10 Renas and trade them with the Golden Archer in Lorencia for one more prize. A blue message shows how many points the pieces are worth.

Example: 4 Knight Blade +9 (tier 5) add up to 112 points: 2 prizes and 2 Renas.
Every successful roulette and Luck combination is announced to the whole server. The original MU recipes are unchanged.
Good to know
- Excellent items have at most 2 excellent options, from drops and from the Chaos Machine. There are no “full” items.
- Wing level 3 is the last one. Maximum success: wing 2 at 70%, wing 3 stage one at 40% and stage two at 25%. The real rate depends on the ingredients, up to that maximum.
- The Socket system is off: socket items, seeds and spheres do not drop.
